The principal content of this page was created by copying content from the "Eternal Pawprints" pamphlet that was provided to us by the caring Lap of Love veterinarian who we called upon to euthanize my loved and beloved dog, Roxanne, once "her time" came. I've made some very minor edits to the source document, and some very minor formatting changes. Roxanne was 16-1/2 years old when we lost her on September 1, 2015, so her passing was both a very sorrowful and traumatic experience for me. I am very grateful to Dr. Vince from Lap of Love for making her "transition" as caring and as comfortable as I could have imagined. I am grateful, too, for the time he spent with me and my Daughter during those initial moments of our grief processing. I would recommend Lap of Love to anyone who is anticipating and/or dealing with "end of life" considerations for his/her pet.
